| At time of surgery, 3/18/2002, I was 44 years old and 230 pounds. Now I'm 45 years old (August 2003) and 110 pounds.I went down from size 28 to size 3. I'm so indebted to Dr Allam for giving me a new life. I fell like a new person. I walk 6 miles 4 days a week and I go to the gym to work on my upper body the other 3 days. You have to go into this being very optimistic knowing that you want to do this and you will be fine. No asthma problems or medical since 6 weeks after surgery till today. Rose Yilmaz |

| I was 66 years old on 3/19/2002 on the date of my surgery, and weighted 309 pounds. In August 2003 I went down from size 3X to size 12-14. Within one month of surgery I was of all blood pressure medications and the sleeping apnea machine. I now only take vitamins. Mary Fioto |
